About Me
I grew up in The Black Hills of South Dakota, where I was one of the oldest children in my family circle, and have been helping care for younger kiddos for as long as I can remember. When I graduated high school I had no idea what I wanted to do accept leave South Dakota, haha. So I traveled the US in my car, working seasonal jobs as a barista, baker, conservation corps crew member, farmer, gardener…etc…and occasionally babysitting. Throughout this time I was always interested in childcare, as well as everything to do with reproductive health. When I finally found my first full-time nanny job, I hated that I had waited so long to get into this career field. A little while after that I took a doula training through Bastyr University and the next year took the Full Spectrum Doula training with Birthing Advocacy Doula Trainings.
